My Week PLUS I Need Suggestions

I'm not going to complain much. I'm just going to list everything that happened and how much it cost to make it through this week. I have done my share of crying. It's Friday. Only 6 1/2 hours left of work. It's sunny and in the 80's. Things are looking up. Right?

Tuesday - nail in the sidewall of my tire. Nail in the middle of other tire. Oil change. - $183.00

Wednesday - Jamie the wonder dog digs out of fence. Someone calls the doggy Po-Po. Pick up from pound - $110.00

Wednesday - Jamie getting kicked in the head by pound person or someone else. Swollen, bleeding eye. Emergency Vet visit - $128.75

Thursday - Jake - physical for camp. Should have been $20.00. Ex stopped paying for their insurance and I didn't know about it until I got to the Doctor's office. Jake's Physical - $122.40

Tracy bawling her eyes out and having a breakdown in the doctor's office - priceless.

It was a traumatic week dealing with Jamie. he is part of the family and it killed me to see him hurting. He'll be okay though.

On to other things.

I bought an ipod shuffle on ebay last week for $20. It's used but the other person's songs have been wiped off. I bought new ear buds and it's in great shape. SO - it can only hold about 250 songs which is perfect for me. I'll probably only listen to it when I'm working out.

So, what I'm asking is that when you leave a comment, you'll let me know your top 5-10 or more songs that you would put on your ipod or that you already have on your ipod/mp3 player.

I'm not big into Country music but I'll probably put a few classics on there. Anything else is fine.

Thanks for your help and I hope your week was better than mine!

Trace~

I know you're not big on country stuff but trust me some of it is not bad. Listen to Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift sometime and you'll learn to like it. Here's some songs I picked out recently. Oh, and yes mostly country.

1. You Belong with Me by Taylor Swift
2. Love Has No Name by Bable
3. Guilty In Here by Miranda Lambert
4. Whatever It Is by The Zac Brown Band
5. My Life Would Suck without You by Kelly Clarkson

Sorry, you've had such a lousy week. Have some ice cream and chill out.

when it rains it pours right? bless your heart. here's to hoping the weekend is better. as for my music, i'm not sure i'll be much help since i AM a country music fan. I don't know "D", but i can tell by her list that she and i would be friends. As terrible as the title is, "My Life Would Suck Without You" is actually quite a catchy, fun song. You also need to download some Marc Broussard (NOT country) and Jason Mraz. Now, when you realize that country music really IS the best, let me know and i'll happily provide you with a fabulous playlist of songs. :) have fun with your ipod. i love mine.

and go dawgs. ;)

I'm sorry your week has been rough! Nothing like hemmoraging money to stress a girl out. We all feel you. ;)

I love my I-pod...I have all different kinds of music on there...I would suggest Superstition by Stevie Wonder, Give a Little Bit by the Goo-Goo Dolls, Beautiful Day by U-2 and Get Down On It by Kool and Gang. :)

Aww, Trace. You've had a shitty week, that's for sure.

I've got a TON of songs to send you, but it will take awhile. Perhaps we could set a date where you could get on AIM and I can send them to you VIA AIM? Then you can add them to your shuffle that way? Then you also don't have to buy them, so it'll save you some $$.

We have some serious catching up to do, I really miss you, and I want to know how you're doing.

xo

Yikes rough week!! You should download the song by the former hootie and the blowfish guy. I think his name is Darius Rucker, but don't quote me on that. The song is called It won't be like this for long. I think.

Also, the Guffman movies are not a series. Each movie is a separate entity and they have nothing to do with each other except they are mostly the same cast.

I call them the Guffman movies because Waiting for Guffman was the first one by that cast that I saw, and it was the funniest.

Other great ones are Best in Show, Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind and For Your Consideration. (I listed them starting with my favorite to the least fave!)
