It's been awhile

Is anyone still out there?! Anyone? Bueller?

So, I was just looking over some of my old posts and man, am I boring. Really. I have to get out more for real.

"People" keep telling me that in a few short years the boys will be gone and I'll be a mess. They are my whole life. I keep telling "people" that I'm going to follow them to college (anywhere in Florida) and bug them all the time, so it's all good.

Whitney and I are going to take up knitting. I took it up several years ago, but I was just making a scarf - I never learned how to end the thing, so it's about 10' long. It'll keep my neck and the rest of me real warm next winter though.

It "snowed" today. My sis, Kathy Boo, told me that we must wear our jammies inside out, put ice in the toilets and sleep with spoons under our pillows and that would bring on the snow and a snow day.

It rained all night until probably about 5am. I got up at 5:45 and the schools weren't closed. I woke the boys up and told em' to get ready for school. Boo! I took the dog outside to do his business and lo and behold, it was snowing big fat snowflakes! So pretty. At about that time, I heard hooting and hollaring from inside. BREAKING NEWS! There school just closed!

I didn't get the day off, but we were able to come in late at 10am, so I got 2 more hours of sleep. Should I have been working out, yes. Did I, no.

So, Kathy Boo says that I have to update about the boy I mentioned. Well, things got better :) We are still seeing each other. I like him. We don't get to see each other a whole lot due to his work and well, these two munchkins of mine. He hasn't met them yet, nor am I ready for them to meet him. I don't like to bring people into their lives who could have a huge impact, if I'm not sure they are going to be around for awhile. Overprotective? Maybe, but that is just me.

Anyway, things still feel new and I get butterflies every time I see him :) :) :)

Plus, he's hot.

Work is good. Getting busier every day. Donations are down, but we aren't letting that stop our mission. We have kiddo's to serve!

I think that's all I have in me today. I hope I won't be so long in blogging next time around.

I'll try to get to everyone's blog by Sunday.
