I really don't have a lot to update on.
Cole graduated on the 23rd from 8th grade. I have a Freshman. I just don't understand where the time has gone. I feel like I'm still 21 but I'm not. I have a 14 year old and a soon to be 13 year old. It's weird. I'm not sure I'm ready for the teen years. Whether I'm ready or not, here they come!
We had a great Memorial day weekend. We played in our ghetto blow up pool (on sale at Target for $29.99) and grilled and had smores over our new fire pit. It was great to just relax. I took Cole's graduation day off so I had a four day weekend. It was fantastic!
The week was a long one even for a four day week. Usually I love my job but this week was filled with just too much headache. Gas prices are so high and I use so much gas getting to and from work that I feel like I could seriously do my job from home (in PJ's).
I've been kind of in a funk. I'm feeling lonely. I get this way every once in awhile. Wishing I had a significant other. But I don't know if it's because I miss companionship or just sex I miss. I have two boys who I dote on and I don't know if I need a third one. I don't know what I want, really. I don't pray about it like I once used to. I feel that I should wait until the boys are graduated from high school because my attention needs to be on them. Really, it's in God's hands and He may not have "that person" for me. That thought doesn't make me happy but I guess only time will tell.
The boys and I went to the cheap theatre yesterday - $5 per ticket and saw Indiana Jones. I love Shia Labeoufffff or however you spell his name. I think he's adorable. Harrison Ford was great, too. I don't think it was the best of the series but the boys liked it a lot.
I want to see The Happening and Strangers. I love scary movies!!!
I am in need of some summer reading. I read voraciously and always seem to have a book in my hand. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I'm off to cook brunch! We got home from church and the boys are changing so I thought I'd do a quick blog.

Isn't it crazy that these kids keep growing up. Kyle and Cole are no longer 8th graders....it's on to high school. YIKES!! They are such little men...and he's my baby. Ouch!
I keep telling myself I'm not old, but my kids keep reinforcing the fact that I am. Can't win.

i agree...when you're least expecting it. Just keep doting on the boys you already have. Mr. Right will be along soon enough. I'll pray for you though!
Damn GF...we could do some serious bonding if we only lived closer. Let me know when that house next door goes up for sale! You know I feel your *pain* LOL! Wish I had some of your faith these days... its impressive...me all I do is bitch about it. I'm thinking you are wayyyyyyyy nicer than me.
I loved the pictures in your previous post...Gangsta pig pen...ROFLMAO!!! He is so cute. Both of them are. They do grow up too fast but before you whine too much bear in mind my oldest son, at 27, is old enough to date you (his last gf was 8 years older)! (he won't leave the area either though...loves his pals too much..otherwise I would be all about choosing my own DIL). I still ponder the universe and wonder when or if I will ever grow up. Not fair! Not fair! Who was it that said youth is wasted on the young?
My baby is going into HS too...jeeze how did that happen?
I've had my share of those ghetto pools too...Dern things are righteous on a hot humid day and so easy to clean up too!
