I FINALLY had a housewarming party - exactly seven months to the day that we moved in! I spent Friday night cleaning and woke up at 6:15am to finish cleaning. I had to be downtown by 9:30am to visit with a little girl at Le Bonheur. Then back home to start cooking!
I was completely stressed as my "other" best friend Susan can attest. I wanted everything to be perfect! Everything was great!
I will tell you this - I have the best friends and family a girl could want. Everyone loved the house and the food was good. My girl Whitney was the hostess and she was wonderful! She brought her sweet dog, Ida Claire over to meet Jamie. I think it's safe to say, they are now boyfriend and girlfriend. At one point I was sitting on the couch talking to Whit and Ida jumped up and sat in my lap and Jamie was having none of it. He jumped up and tried to get on my lap and she just pushed him right off. Cute.
The boys had a great time with their friends. We got a fire pit - SCORE! And lit that thing up after everyone left and it was fantastic! Felt like we were camping!
My favorite people came - The Boo and Cantrell Clans came! I have pics and I will post! I love Kathy and Amanda! They are so much fun and I want Amanda's haircut!
Thank you Whitney for hosting and Susan for helping me cook. Okay, she did most of it!

Better late than never. You could have another house warming party just for the heck of it. No one will question it I'm sure. :) It's all fun!
